Very Low Calorie Diet: Replace 1 - 3 meals with 1 - 3 sachets per day. Additionally, consume at least 2L of water and up to 2 cups of low starch vegetables per day. A program of regular light exercise enhances well being and the likelihood of success. Simply add one sachet of Optifast to 200mL of cold water. Stir, blend or shake the liquid until the contents of the sachet are fully dissolved. Do not use boiling water. Add more water if you would prefer a larger shake or a more diluted taste. The colder the water, the better the taste! For those on the transition phase of Optifast (i.e. two serves of Optifast per day), you can enjoy a delicious and satisfying fruit smoothie, by adding one serve of fruit (e.g. 200g berries) and mixing in a blender.
